World persistence between upgrades
The Ubuntu packages I make here have being recently upgraded to a new version with some cool features:
- Keeps your world files intact between upgrades. From now, you can upgrade your packages to a new version without loosing all your data. Anyway, previous backups is always a good idea.
- Moved software generated files to /var/lib/opensimulator. This better follows the debian policy.
- Lots of bugs in the internal packaging scripts have being fixed.
- This new packages are now available for lucid (Ubuntu 10.04)
You can find how to install all the software in the opensimulator packages page.
